When In Doubt Move About

Approximately 200,000 years ago, our species was created. Homo sapiens began to migrate across Europe and Asia to find sources of food. As time when on, people evolved to climates and developed more cultures. They became more sophisticated, knowledgeable, and wiser. Eventually we spread our species all across the globe, and became connected to the point where all it takes is a simple tap of the finger on your phone to get in touch with anyone across the world.

The coming up and expansion of our species is something that lives within all of us. At one point or another, your ancestors got up and moved across the globe from Africa, to Asia or Europe, and eventually some came to the United States (shout out Ilia, Rok, and Matt for sticking in Europe).

The point of why I am telling you this that human beings are made to move. We are made to try new and exciting things, and we are made to be free. If you are feeling trapped, your next move is to move.

Literally everything we do as humans involves movement. We move jobs, we move cities, we move significant others, we move friend groups, hell we move to get off the couch to find a snack watching football on Sunday.

So go on a vacation, see something new, see someone new, go out on the town, make a new friend, start a new hobby, there are endless possibilities out there in the world. When you get caught up in past thought loops, you slowly start to die inside. Why? Because you cannot have what you do not have anymore, and you cannot have what you do not move to get.

The direction you take does not matter, you will always find your destination. Think about it like this, a car can go forward and in reverse, but it either way it is moving, but you will never get where you want to go if you stay in neutral.

When you start moving you start activating your primal instincts. You begin to become more present with the world around you. Your senses become hyper engaged and life just feels a little bit more exciting.

Always keep in mind when we get caught in continuous patterns, we start to lose our humanity. Try to experience new things everyday, even if they are small. When you stay guessing, you stay engaged.
