Reasons Why You Should Love Monday's

You might be just waking up, or you might be just getting out of class or school. Either way, I know one thing is for sure. You have your Monday face on.

You know that face of yours that makes it seem like you are giving everyone that stink eye, when really you are just upset at the beginning of another long week.

Either way, people really do not like Monday’s, and I am here to tell you why people are wrong. This is the top five things you can look forward to on Monday’s.

#1 A Fresh Start.

Some weeks are better than others, that is for sure. Maybe last week you were incredibly busy with your family, travel plans, and getting ahead on work that you found yourself stressed out about something. Well guess what, it is a new day and a new week. It is your free chance at a blank slate, and we could all use more of those. Maybe this is the week you try something new, maybe this is the week where something happens, maybe it can be the week where you produce your best quality work. Either way, Monday let’s us hit the reset button.

#2 You are Alive.

Okay, seems pretty obvious, but seriously, how many people take a second to realize that being alive is such a gift. I know you may not be in the best of spirits with the daily grind coming up, but on the most basic of levels, at least you get to experience it! I would try and give you the outrageously large number of how many people have died up to this point in human existence, but I will let you Google it instead. Either way, remember that you get to have air in your lungs and a heartbeat today.

#3 A Chance to Set the Tone

Similar to having a fresh start, Monday can give you a renewed sense of purpose and drive in your life. As you turn over a new leaf on what you do, you can also turn a new leaf in how much attention and dedication you give to things that make you unique. For example, maybe this the week you step it up in the gym, or challenge yourself to be off your phone more often.

P.S if you are on your phone right now, you keep your phones out.

#4 Get Excited for the Week

If you have big weekend plans, be excited for that fact that it is Monday. The time is getting closer to that really awesome plan that you had made weeks in advance. If that is not going to get you fired up than I do not know what will. Also, if you

love your job and what you get out of it, then why wouldn’t you want to be excited. Monday is a day to carry out your purpose.

#5 Monday Night Football

The NFL week isn’t over and at least you have some sports to come home and watch. Plus, we all get to laugh at how much Booger McFarland and Jason Whitten hate each other.
